A. Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten

Im Folgenden möchten wir Ihnen Informationen darüber geben, wie wir Ihre personenbezogenen Daten verarbeiten, wenn Sie unsere Website nutzen. Sofern in den folgenden Kapiteln nichts anderes angegeben ist, ergibt sich die rechtliche Grundlage für die Verarbeitung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten aus der Tatsache, dass diese Verarbeitung erforderlich ist, um die von Ihnen abgefragten Funktionalitäten der Website zur Verfügung zu stellen.
 

Verwenden unserer Website

1. Zugang zu unserer Website

Wenn Sie unsere Website aufrufen, überträgt Ihr Browser bestimmte Daten an unseren Webserver. Dies geschieht aus technischen Gründen und ist erforderlich, um Ihnen die angefragten Informationen zur Verfügung zu stellen. 2. Website-Analyse

Auf unserer Website verwenden wir Google Analytics, einen Webanalysedienst der Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, Kalifornien 94043, USA („Google“). Google wird Ihre Nutzung unserer Website in unserem Auftrag analysieren. Zu diesem Zweck verwenden wir die oben aufgeführten Cookies. Die von Google in Verbindung mit Ihrer Nutzung unserer Website gesammelten Informationen (z. B. die auf uns verweisende URL, unsere von Ihnen besuchten Webseiten, Ihr Browsertyp, Ihre Spracheinstellungen, Ihr Betriebssystem, Ihre Bildschirmauflösung) werden an einen Server von Google in den USA übertragen, wo sie gespeichert und analysiert werden. Die jeweiligen Ergebnisse werden uns dann in anonymisierter Form zur Verfügung gestellt. Ihre Nutzungsdaten werden während dieses Prozesses nicht mit Ihrer vollständigen IP-Adresse in Verbindung gebracht. Wir haben auf unserer Website die von Google angebotene IP-Anonymisierungsfunktion aktiviert, die die letzten 8 Bits (Typ IPv4) oder die letzten 80 Bits (Typ IPv6) Ihrer IP-Adresse löscht. Darüber hinaus ist Google unter dem EU-US Privacy Shield zertifiziert, was sicherstellt, dass ein angemessenes Datenschutzniveau bei der Verarbeitung von Daten durch Google in den USA gewährleistet ist. Sie können Ihre Einwilligung zur Nutzung der Webanalyse jederzeit widerrufen, indem Sie entweder das mitgelieferte Google Browser Plugin herunterladen und installieren oder Ihre Einwilligungen in der obigen Tabelle verwalten, wobei dann ein Opt-out-Cookie gesetzt wird. Beide Optionen verhindern die Anwendung der Website-Analyse nur so lange, wie Sie den Browser verwenden, auf dem Sie das Plugin installiert haben, und das Opt-Out-Cookie nicht löschen.

We process information provided by you via contact form exclusively for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. Depending on the content of your inquiry, this may include health data or other special categories of personal data. We process your personal data based on your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a) General Data Protection Regulation. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before such withdrawal, by contacting us using the contact details provided in the Contact section below. We delete this information as soon as it is no longer required anymore in order to process or follow up on your request.

This Website is not intended or designed for communications regarding side effects, lack of therapeutic effect, medication errors, grey market products/counterfeit medicine, incorrect or off-label use, quality complaints and/or other issues regarding the safeness or quality of Bayer products. If you wish to report side effects or make a quality complaint, please contact your health care professional (e.g. physician or pharmacist), your local health authority, or use our Website for the report of undesirable side effects.

If you nevertheless report to us undesirable side effects or other issues regarding the safeness or quality of Bayer products, we will be legally bound to deal with your communication and may have to contact you for clarification purposes. Subsequently, we may have to notify the competent health authorities of the issues reported by you. In this context, your information will be forwarded in pseudonymized form, i.e. no information by which you may be directly identified will be passed on. II.    Recipients of personal data

For the processing of your personal data we will to some extent use specialized service contractors that process your data on our behalf (e.g. for IT-Support or cloud services).

Such service contractors are carefully selected and regularly monitored by us. Based on respective data processing agreements, they will only process personal data in accordance with our instructions.

We may share your personal data with our affiliates from the Bayer Group, where necessary for the purposes described above. 

We may share your personal data with law enforcement agencies or other authorities and state institutions if legally required or necessary for the purposes described above.

In order to support legal decisions and to pursue or defend against legal claims, we may share your personal data with external lawyers.

We may share your personal data with a prospective buyer in case of an acquisition, merger or any other type of corporate or asset transition involving a change of ownership or control concerning us or our services.

III.    Processing of personal data outside the EEA

Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, including such for which the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision. If no adequacy decision exists for the respective country, we will ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data by concluding so-called standard contractual clauses - adopted by the European Commission - with the recipient (to obtain a copy, please refer to the contact details below), or we will ask for your explicit consent to the transfer.

• Right to file a complaint with a data protection authority;
• Where you have provided your consent to the processing of your personal data, you may at any time withdraw your consent with future effect. Such a withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal.
